Quick take: Censof surges 18% on returning to the black

KUALA LUMPUR: Censof Holdings Bhd jumped over 18% in early trade after the company returned to the black with a net profit of RM12.7mil for its fourth quarter ended March 31 (4QFY21).

The financial management software solutions provider surged 18.31%, or 6.5 sen to 42 sen. It is currently the third most active counter on Bursa Malaysia with over 47 million shares done.

Censof recorded a net profit of RM12.71mil in 4QFY21 against a net loss of RM73.95mil a year earlier.

For the quarter under review, revenue was marginally higher year-on-year at RM32.71mil, due higher revenue generated by Netsense Group, acquired in 2020 and higher sales demand for ABSS products.

For the full financial year ended March 31, Censof’s net profit stood at RM26.79mil compared with a net loss of RM72.42mil a year ago while revenue increased 12.6% year-on-year to RM87.68mil.

The group declared an interim single tier dividend of 0.75 sen per ordinary share for FY21, with the ex-date on June 3,2021 and payment on June 25,2021.
