Ad industry in upbeat mood

PETALING JAYA: The prospects of the ad industry this year will be dictated by how the economy performs and duration of the lockdown.

Going by the numbers, the economy contracted by 0.5% year-on-year in the first quarter of this year compared with a bigger contraction of 3.4% in the fourth quarter of 2020.
