Trading ideas: Dayang, EcoFirst, Astino, MAHB, UMW

KUALA LUMPUR: Dayang Enterprise, EcoFirst, Astino, MAHB and UMW Holdings are among the stocks which could see trading interest on Tuesday, JF Apex Research says.

Dayang Enterprise was awarded a contract by Sarawak Shell Bhd and Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd for the provision of topside major maintenance services.

EcoFirst proposed a bonus issue of up to 443.82 million warrants on the basis of one warrant for every two existing EcoFirst shares.

It said Astino has proposed a bonus issue of 219.29 million shares on the basis of four bonus shares for every five shares held.

MAHB has asked the government to review any intention to liquidate the holding of the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang to any private entity, according to its chairman Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.

UMW Holdings’ UMW Toyota Motor saw a 12.7% increase in vehicle sales in April 2021.

UMW’s associate Perodua, on the other hand, saw a decrease in sales from 24,431 in March to 20,399 in April due to the shortage of semiconductor chips.
