Dayang unit secures services contract from Shell

"The outlook of the company as well as oil and gas industry will be healthier in 2021 on the premises that crude oil price would remain at current levels, which are reasonable to incite oil majors to undertake planned capital expenditure, ” Dayang said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary has received a contract from Sarawak Shell Bhd and Sabah Shell Petroleum Co Ltd for the provision of topside major maintenance services.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd received the contract from the companies under Package A.

The value of the contract is based on work orders issued by the Shell companies throughout the contract duration from April 29, 2021 to Aug 19, 2023.

"The Contract will have no effect on the issued capital of the Company and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of DEHB over the duration of the Contract," it added.
