Mohd Afdhal Mohd Nayan

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Digital Economy Corp (MDEC) has named Mohd Afdhal Mohd Nayan as its chief transformation officer.

In a statement, the digital transformation agency said the appointment of Afdhal was in line with the group’s focus to drive forward its “reinvent” mission and accelerate capability to realise the aspirations of the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint or MyDigital.

MDEC said Afdhal, who was formerly head of transformation at AirAsia Group, would lead in the overall review and efficiency improvement of the group’s current business processes.

He would develop, implement and drive its transformation initiatives.
