Sapura Energy’s key appointments


In a statement, the group said Mohd Anuar (pic) joined as an independent director in August last year before appointed chief operating officer and chief executive officer in October 2020.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sapura Energy Bhd has appointed Datuk Mohd Anuar Taib (pic) as its executive director effective today.

In a statement, the group said Mohd Anuar joined as an independent director in August last year before appointed chief operating officer and chief executive officer in October 2020.

He took over the helm of the group on March 23,2021, following the retirement of Sapura Energy founder Tan Sri Shahril Shamsuddin.

The company also announced the appointments of Datuk Iain Lo and Bernard di Tullio to its board of directors effective May 1,2021.

“Datuk Ian will join the board of the global integrated energy services and solutions provider, as an independent and non-executive director, while di Tullio joins as non-independent non-executive director, ” it said.
