Quick take: Inta Bina rises on contract win

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Inta Bina Group Bhd rose 5% in early trade after securing a RM106mil construction contract.

The building contractor 5%, or 1.5 sen to 31.5 sen, its highest in three weeks with 1.33 million shares done.

Inta Bina has secured a RM106mil contract for the construction of serviced apartments in Klang.

It said its wholly-owned subsidiary Inta Bina Sdn Bhd had accepted a letter of award (LoA) from Mitraland Holding (M) Sdn Bhd’s wholly-owned unit Vibrantline Sdn Bhd.

The contract is for Phase 2 of the project, which includes main building works for the project.

The project entails a business complex that will house 25 shops, a seven-floor podium car park, 416 units of serviced apartments and a pedestrian bridge for the development, among others.

The project, to start on April 26, is expected to be completed in 28 months.
