Bina Puri secures RM183mil job in Nepal

KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has secured a 5.2 billion Nepalese rupee (RM183mil) job from the Nepal government to build a supreme court complex at Ramshahpath, Kathmandu.

This deal increased the group’s order book to RM1.9bil.

In a statement, Bina Puri said it had entered into a joint venture with Kalika Construction Pvt Ltd and Samanantar Nirman Sewa Pvt Ltd for the project, which has a contract period of 36 months.

The project will consist of a seven-storey building with two basements.

It will also include a reinforced cement concrete framed structure with landscaping as well as mechanical, plumbing and electrical works in addition to firefighting works.

The Kalika Group is one of Nepal’s largest conglomerates while Samanantar Nirman Sewa is a construction company.
