Hong Leong AM bags 8 awards at Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards 2021


KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Asset Management Bhd (Hong Leong AM) has received eight awards at the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards 2021, including the Best Equity Group Award (Malaysia Provident), marking the asset manager’s fourth time winning.

In a statement today, it said Hong Leong Asia-Pacific Dividend Fund also won Equity Asia Pacific ex Japan (Malaysia Provident) three-year and five-year categories and Hong Leong Dividend Fund bagged Equity Malaysia Income (Malaysia Provident) five-year category.

It said Hong Leong Dana Makmur won Equity Malaysia (Malaysia Islamic) three-year and five-year categories, as well as Equity Malaysia (Malaysia Provident) three-year category and Hong Leong Growth Fund clinched Equity Malaysia Diversified (Malaysia Provident) five-year category.

"The awards are an affirmation of our investment philosophy and strategies and provide recognition to our investment team who has delivered consistently strong risk-adjusted returns for investors,” chief executive officer Hoo See Kheng said.

An asset management company within the Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd group of companies, Hong Leong AM established and distributed unit trust funds, wholesale funds and customised portfolio solutions to the retail and institutional segments.

Refinitiv Lipper Awards honours funds and fund management firms that excel in providing consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers and focus the investment world on top funds with the merit of the winners based on entirely objective and quantitative criteria. - Bernama
