MAHB’s Q1 passenger traffic down


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, MAHB said the domestic and international sectors fell by 68% and 87.3% respectively in Q1 compared to the corresponding period last year with 1.5 million and 4.4 million passenger movements respectively.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) network of airports recorded 5.9 million passenger movements in the first quarter of this year (Q1), down 76.8% from a year ago due to the re-imposition of the MCO effective Jan 13 in Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, MAHB said the domestic and international sectors fell by 68% and 87.3% respectively in Q1 compared to the corresponding period last year with 1.5 million and 4.4 million passenger movements respectively.

Total aircraft movements also showed a decline.
