Central Global's subsidiary bags sub-contract worth RM100mil in Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Central Global Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Proventus Bina Sdn Bhd (PBSB), has bagged a sub-contract to upgrade water supply infrastructure in Lahad Datu, Sabah, worth RM100.54mil

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Central Global said the contract, which was awarded by RYRT International Sdn Bhd, commences on April 28, 2021 and is expected to conclude by June 24, 2023.

"The contract encompasses the supply of labour, materials, machinery and equipment relating to the upgrading of water supply infrastructure to connect Kampung Belacon to a water treatment plant in Jalan Dam, and further connecting to the main water reservoir in Lahad Datu.

"The award will have no effect on the share capital of the company but it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years ending 2021 to 2022,” it added.
