Rubber glove hub construction starts in June


To be located in the Gebeng industrial area, the hub will be constructed on 128.2ha, involving an investment of RM100mil, said Pahang State Development Corp (PKNP) chief executive officer Mohd Faizal Jaafar (pic) after the signing of the land lease agreement yesterday.

KUANTAN: The construction of the rubber gloves and personal protective equipment hub by the World Gloves International Group City and Hub Development Sdn Bhd (WGC) is set to begin in June.

To be located in the Gebeng industrial area, the hub will be constructed on 128.2ha, involving an investment of RM100mil, said Pahang State Development Corp (PKNP) chief executive officer Mohd Faizal Jaafar.

“The construction of the first phase is scheduled for completion in December. The latest investment in the industrial area will bring economic benefits to the locals and the surrounding areas, ” he said in a speech at the signing ceremony of the land lease agreement between PKNP and WGC held here.

The agreement was signed by Mohd Faizal on behalf of the PKNP, while WGC was represented by its CEO Datuk Gianluca Ernesti. — Bernama
