PETALING JAYA: Perodua expects to sell 240,000 cars in 2021, or 9% more than last year, as it concluded the first quarter on a strong footing, partly driven by the demand for its new compact SUV Ativa.

The national carmaker’s sales in the January-March 2021 period surged by 29% to nearly 57,911 units, with 4,345 Perodua Ativa delivered since its launch on March 3.
