Quick take: Time dotCom hits record high on bonus issue plan

KUALA LUMPUR: TIME Dotcom Bhd’s shares hit record in early trade Wednesday after proposing a two-for-one bonus issue of its shares.

The telecommunications provider, the second top gainer on Bursa Malaysia, added 2.74%, or 38 sen to RM14.26.

It said the proposed bonus issue will increase the number of Time dotCom shares held by shareholders while maintaining their percentage of equity interest in the company.

It added that the move may potentially enhance the marketability and trading liquidity of the counter.

The entitlement date will be determined and announced at a later date after all relevant approvals for the proposed bonus issue have been obtained," it said.
