KUALA LUMPUR: Plans are afoot for industrial businesses in Selangor to be supplied with non-potable treated water produced by Central Water Reclamation Sdn Bhd, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) company that is 60% owned by Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) and 40% owned by Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK).
The bio-effluent treated at IWK’s treatment plants will be supplied to Central Water’s treatment plants, to produce non-potable treated water that can be safely used for industrial purposes.
