Bintai Kinden bags Tenaga contract, boosts order book to RM236m

KUALA LUMPUR: Bintai Kinden Corporation Bhd has secured a RM9.78mil contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) and boosting its total order book to about RM236.67mil.

Its unit, Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd had on Monday received a letter of award from TNB to replace and refurbish a transformer, earthing the transformer and reactor to PMU 275/33 KV Grik.

Bintai Kinden managing director Ong Choon Lui expects the contract to contribute positively to the group’s revenue and earnings.

“Inclusive of this contract, Bintai Kinden has increased its outstanding order book to approximately RM236.67mil, which will provide a healthy earnings visibility for the next two years, ” he added.

The contract is expected to be completed in 540 days from the commencement date.
