Trading ideas: Sasbadi, MPHB Capital, Sunway, Lotte Chemical Titan

KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Friday include Sasbadi Holdings Bhd, MPHB Capital Bhd, Sunway Bhd and Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd, according to JF Apex Research.

Sasbadi has inked a RM722,400 contract with the Community Development Department (KEMAS) to publish, design, print, bind, supply and deliver the English activity book for six-year-old nursery care centre children.

MPHB Capital, whose share price hit limit up today after jumping 29.63%, has received an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia over the sharp rise in the company’s share price.

Sunway has set a sales target of RM1.6bil for its property division this year, as the group launches RM2.8bil worth of properties in anticipation of an economic recovery, amid the global Covid-19 vaccine rollout.

Lotte Chemical Titan sees a brighter outlook for the company, thanks to a continued uptrend in average selling prices (ASPs) of polymer products.

Meanwhile, US markets plunged overnight with technology counters being battered as bond yields climbed again.

Similarly, European stocks declined after the 10-year US Treasury yield rose to 1.5%.

“Following the bearish performance in Wall Street, the FBM KLCI could remain pressured and hover below the resistance of 1,615 points,” JF Apex said.
