said its profits in the second quarter ended Jan 31,2021 doubled from a year ago driven by its expanded business in the life science and medical technology segment.
Net profit in the quarter surged to RM27.2mil from RM13.3mil previously. Revenue shot up to RM77.8mil compared with RM54.9mil a year ago.
The increase was attributed to the group’s involvement in the life science and medical technology industry, as well as the continued strong global demand in the semiconductor industry, UWC said.
