KPower’s Q2 net profit jumps four-fold


In a statement, the group said its revenue climbed more than five-fold in the quarter to RM90mil compared to RM13.63mil in the previous corresponding period on higher contribution from EPCC works in Laos and Malaysia, among others.

KUALA LUMPUR: KPower Bhd’s net profit jumped almost four-fold to RM9.25mil for the second quarter (Q2) ended Dec 31, 2020, from the corresponding quarter a year earlier, driven by higher revenue from the construction related activities as well as property development and investment segments.

In a statement, the group said its revenue climbed more than five-fold in the quarter to RM90mil compared to RM13.63mil in the previous corresponding period on higher contribution from EPCC works in Laos and Malaysia, among others.
