Kejuruteraan Asastera bags RM23.4m contract, boosts order book to RM390m


KUALA LUMPUR: Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd has secured a RM23.40mil contract for the electrical services of Agile Property Development Sdn Bhd’s property project along Jalan Ampang.

It said on Monday it had accepted a sub-contract from CNQC Engineering & Construction (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the internal and external electrical services of the Agile Embassy Garden project.

Agile Embassy Garden comprises three towers of 64-storeys each with 1,296 serviced apartments and retail units.

The contract came into effect on Monday and it is expected to be completed by Oct 31,2023.

KAB managing director Datuk Lai Keng Onn said this contract would contribute positively to the group’s future earnings.

With this contract, KAB’s orderbook is increased to about RM390mil and will provide earnings visibility for the next few years, he said.

KAB is an electrical and mechanical engineering services.
