In terms of the hiring initiative, Deloitte Malaysia internal audit, risk advisory executive director Muzafar Kamal said the IA function should consider a “Purple Person, ” which is an individual who possesses a combination of technical and business skills.

PETALING JAYA: The emergent threats of 2020 is pushing the need for internal audits (IA) to elevate its game, according to a survey by Deloitte.

In its 2020 survey of audit committee chairs and members, Deloitte said 96% of respondents want IA to broaden its skillset.
