Dominant suspends Muar ops


Dominant Enterprise said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the two workers at its factory and warehouse in Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Pasir tested positive for the coronavirus during a screening exercise carried out on all its employees in Muar.

KUALA LUMPUR: Dominant Enterprise Bhd has suspended its operations in Muar, Johor, until Feb 25,2021, for a disinfection and sanitisation exercise after two of its workers tested positive for Covid-19.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the two workers at its factory and warehouse in Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Pasir tested positive for the coronavirus during a screening exercise carried out on all its employees in Muar.

The two workers have since been placed under quarantine and separated from other workers.

Dominant Enterprise said the temporary suspension will have a minimal impact on its operations and financial performance for the financial year ending March 31,2021.
