SEOUL: South Korea’s headline inflation stayed below 1% for four straight months through January due to cheaper crude oil and welfare policy, according to statistical office data.
The consumer price index (CPI) stood at 106.47 in January, up 0.6% from a year earlier, according to Statistics Korea.
