Bintulu Port achieves milestone in LNG export

KUCHING: Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd (BPSB) has become the first port operator in the Asean region to export liquified natural gas (LNG) in ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) tanks on a large scale.

The milestone was achieved when Bintulu Port completed its first LNG ISO tanks’ handling operations with the maiden call of Tiger Clean Energy Ltd (TCEL)’s 169m-long vessel – Fan Zhou 6 – at Bintulu International Container Terminal (BICT) recently.
