PETALING JAYA: Power Root Bhd
is temporarily halting operations of two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries for a week to facilitate the commencement of sanitisation works after an employee tested positive for Covid-19.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the beverage company said Power Root (M) Sdn Bhd and Power Root Manufacturing Sdn Bhd will be voluntarily halting operations from 8pm, effective since Jan 25 until Feb 1.
Power Root said it had activated its business continuity plan for the employee that tested positive and had also conducted immediate RTK-Antigen testing on Jan 25,26 and 27 for 520 workers.
