IILM starts year with US$1bil sukuk


The issuance marks the first transaction for 2021 and forms part of the IILM’s A-1 rated US$4bil short-term issuance programme.

PETALING JAYA: The International Islamic Liquidity Management Corp (IILM) has successfully completed the auction of US$1.15bil short-term sukuk across three series comprising one-month US$400mil priced at 0.28%, three-month US$500mil at 0.40% and six-month US$250mil at 0.40%.

The issuance marks the first transaction for 2021 and forms part of the IILM’s A-1 rated US$4bil short-term issuance programme.

In a statement, it said the auction garnered favourable demand.
