Karyon reports 4 workers tested positive for Covid-19

Four production workers of Karyon Industries Bhd's unit Allbright Industries (M) Sdn Bhd have been tested positive for Covid-19.

KUALA LUMPUR: Four production workers of Karyon Industries Bhd's unit Allbright Industries (M) Sdn Bhd have been tested positive for Covid-19.

The company said on Tuesday the affected workers are receiving medical treatment at the government facilities.

“All employees in the affected manufacturing facilities are placed under quarantine and will undergo subsequent screening, ” it said.

Karyon said the affected manufacturing facilities have been closed temporarily for disinfection and sanitisation. The facilities will remain closed until further notice and as advised by Health Ministry.

At this juncture, the company said it was unable to quantify the financial impact arising from the temporary closure of the affected manufacturing facilities.
