A Covid-19 test
KUALA LUMPUR: SCGM Bhd’s subsidiary Lee Soon Seng Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd (LSSPI) is working at a reduced capacity of 50% after two production workers were tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, it said the two workers were found to have the virus during a routine test on Saturday.
This resulted in mass screening exercise carried out on all LSSPI employees. It also halted operations on its production floor on Saturday and Sunday.
SCGM also said LSSPI had enforced mandatory quarantine measures on employees listed as close contacts and carried out deep cleaning to sanitise all premises.
“LSSPI resumed operations on Monday at reduced capacity of 50% comprising automated machines. Labour intensive operations remain halted pending further instructions, ” it said.
