PETALING JAYA: Perak Transit Bhd is collaborating with Energetic Point Sdn Bhd (EPSB) to operate Terminal Sentral Kuantan, an integrated public transportation terminal (IPTT) and hub serving the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The collaboration to operate Terminal Sentral Kuantan marks the group’s first venture into third party terminal management services and the first operation of IPTT outside of Perak.

In a statement, Perak Transit said the venture into terminal management services involved minimal capital expenditure with faster growth and recurring earnings.

Terminal Sentral Kuantan is located midway between the East Coast Expressway and central Kuantan. It has 18 platforms, five arrival bays, 10 holding bays and 37 express bus operators.
