Petronas Dagangan, Maxis in strategic partnership

KUALA LUMPUR: Leveraging on big data analytics, Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PetDag) has teamed up with Maxis Bhd to offer converged solutions focusing on safety, security and sustainability for businesses.

It said both PetDag and Maxis, which have inked a strategic partnership, would offer cost optimisation end-to-end business solutions, while ensuring the safety and security of its assets, fleet and drivers.

“By doing so, both PetDag’s and Maxis Business customers can benefit from a wider suite of solutions ranging from asset management to logistic services, ” it said in a joint statement with Maxis.

PetDag managing director and chief executive officer Azrul Osman Rani said the partnership with Maxis would create unique retail experiences at Petronas stations as part of its retail transformation strategy.

“The partnership aims to co-create solutions and services that will offer a more differentiated and enhanced retail experience at PetDag’s retail stations such as hyper personalisation through big data and advance analytics with Maxis as the technology enabler.

“Leveraging on technology and innovation, we aspire to be at the forefront of the industry and continuously delight our customers in meeting their changing needs and lifestyles, ” he added.

Maxis chief executive officer Gokhan Ogut said that in the current digital landscape, the partnership began with the shared vision, adding that the group’s experience in big data analytics would allow it to provide converged solutions to its customers.

“We are committed to being the No. 1 technology partner and bringing together the best of technologies to enable businesses to always be ahead in a changing world, ” he added.
