KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened lower against the US dollar today on lack of buying interest as the reintroduction of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the COVID-19 pandemic spread triggered anxieties among investors, said an analyst.
At 9 am, the local note traded 50 points weaker at 4.0530/0600 against the greenback from yesterday’s close of 4.0480/0530.
