Quick take: Censof shares slip despite contract win

KUALA LUMPUR: Censof Holdings Bhd’s share price was lower this morning despite clinching a 10.12mil contract.

The software solution provider fell 2%, or 0.5 sen to 24.5 sen with 2.7 million shares traded.

Censof Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd, has secured a contract worth RM10.12mil from the Finance Ministry (MoF) to provide maintenance and support services for MoF’s budget management information system, MyResults.

MyResults is an outcome-based budgeting platform, of which high-level national strategies are linked to specific budget programmes and activities.

The tenure of the contract is for a period of two years, commencing from Jan 1,2021 to Dec 31,2022.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board of Censof said the contract will contribute positively to the group's earnings per share and future earnings.
