Prasarana’s payments not up to date, says MRCBGK

The LRT3 project’s overall line wide progress was 45.8% on Dec 31,2020. The project hires 21 main contractors and consultants and 10,000 employees.

PETALING JAYA: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK) has clarified that Prasarana Malaysia Bhd’s payments on Oct 2,2020 were only for construction works done up to June 2020.

The joint venture company between Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) and George Kent (M) Bhd said Prasarana’s delayed payments of more than RM700mil were from July to October 2020, which have been certified for payment by KL Prima Consult Sdn Bhd, Prasarana’s appointed independent consultant.
