PETALING JAYA: Mudajaya Group Bhd’s unit has been selected as one of the successful bidders in a competitive feed-in tariff e-bidding small hydro tender exercise in Malaysia.

The construction and infrastructure group said its 76%-owned indirect subsidiary Bera Hydropower Sdn Bhd (BHSB) would enter into a renewable energy power purchase agreement with Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

The project would be in Pahang and the installed capacity and tariff rate would be 30 megawatt and 29 sen per kilowatt-hour, respectively, for a period of 21 years.
