Positive outlook: Mazda showroom in Shah Alam. The better Q3 earnings expected for BAuto are based on an improved performance by its unit Mazda Malaysia Sdn Bhd and better sentiment in the export markets.

PETALING JAYA: The prospects of Bermaz Auto Bhd (BAuto) are expected to improve in tandem with the recovery in domestic demand and export for automotive products.

According to analysts, the Mazda distributor will likely register sequentially stronger earnings for the third quarter (Q3) ending Jan 31,2021, after posting lower-than-expected numbers in the preceding quarter.
