Poh Kong earnings soar on high gold prices


Poh Kongs revenue for the first quarter ended Oct 31,2020 jumped 8.3% to RM221.91mil compared with RM205.0mil previously.

PETALING JAYA: Higher gold prices have lifted Poh Kong Holdings Bhd’s profitability for the first quarter with net income surging by 81% to RM14.64mil from RM8.08mil a year earlier.

Its revenue for the first quarter ended Oct 31,2020 jumped 8.3% to RM221.91mil compared with RM205.0mil previously.
