AirAsia expects nod for lending plans in Q1


AirAsia told Bursa Malaysia the group is also working on insurance and wealth management services that are expected to be rolled out in Malaysia next year, subject to regulatory approvals.

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia Bhd expects to receive the final approval for its lending plans under BigPay by the first quarter of next year.

The budget carrier has already received provisional approval for lending from the Housing and Local Government Ministry in mid-November to provide online loans under a community credit licence.
