MMC Corp to gain from economic recovery

Currently, MMC’s port portfolio consists of Port of Tanjung Pelepas (pic), Johor Port, Northport, Penang Port and Tanjung Bruas Port.

PETALING JAYA: The momentum in economic recovery will continue to buoy MMC Corp Bhd as earnings are expected to get a boost from the gradual resumption in global and domestic trade.

Kenanga Research increased its financial year 2020 (FY20) and FY21 core net profit estimates for the company by 19% and 33%, respectively, to better reflect the stronger port and logistics segment’s contribution, especially with the anticipated full reopening of the economy next year.
