Bangladesh seeks LNG cargo for December delivery

Asian spot prices for LNG slipped this week as supply from Malaysia returned after a brief hiatus, although a colder-than-expected winter in Northeast Asia supported prices, that jumped more than 40% this month.(File pic shows MISC's LNG tanker Camellia.)

Bangladesh's state-owned Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company is seeking one liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo for delivery in December through a tender, two officials familiar with the matter said on Monday.

It has sought a cargo of 138,000 cubic metres for delivery over Dec. 22-26 in a tender closing on Nov. 25 that was reissued after it was cancelled because of high offered prices.
