Rubberex’s 3Q net profit surges to RM39m


Rubberex's favourable performance is expected to continue for the rest of 2020 as order books for the existing nitrile disposable glove lines have been filled up until the second half of 2021.

KUALA LUMPUR: Rubberex Corporation (M) Bhd joined glove makers to post supernormal profits in the third quarter as demand surged due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its orders have filled up to the second half of 2021.

It reported on Friday its net profit surged by 1,168% to RM39.51mil from RM3.11mil a year ago. Its revenue was up 75.2% to RM109.03mil from RM62.23mil. Earnings per share rose to 14.88 sen from 1.23 sen
