Trading ideas: PetDag, FGV, MISC, CCM, IWCity


KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Dagangan, FGV and MISC are among the stocks to watch on Wednesday after their quarterly results, JF Apex Research says.

It said PetDag's profit rebounded quarter-on-quarter as sales volume picks up with easing of movement restrictions.

FGV posted stronger earnings in the third quarter due to higher crude palm oil prices, lower loss at its sugar refinery business under MSM Holdings.

LNG shipper MISC’s 3Q net profit fell year-on-year to RM258m.

Batu Kawan is acquiring a 56.32% stake in Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) from PNB for RM292.97mil.

K-One Technology has secured a RM30mil AWS cloud services contract.

AirAsia Group Bhd’s 33%-owned associate AirAsia Japan Co Ltd (AAJ) has filed for bankruptcy.

Unisem (M) Bhd plans to place out 72.71 million shares to raise up to RM399.9mi to fund its expansion in Malaysia and China.

As for Tenaga Nasional Bhd, the power giant has sued Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity) for RM76.56mil for damage to its undersea cables.
