PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Food Bhd
’s (BFood) net profit more than doubled to RM10.4mil for the first quarter ended Sept 30, from RM4.6mil in the corresponding quarter last year.
The food and beverage company attributed its higher earnings to effective cost management implemented to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, as well as improved performance of the group’s Kenny Rogers Roaster operations.
