KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Plantation Bhd has stepped up its efforts to further strengthen its human rights commitments and compliance with the appointments of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and an independent international NGO specialising in migrant worker rights.
It said in a statement on Tuesday PwC was appointed on Oct 19 to set up effective platforms and channels of communication to address any concerns or issues surrounding its operations in Malaysia.
