Scomi Group faces possible suspension


Bursa Securities said if the company fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within six months from the expiry of the relevant time frames, it faces delisting.

KUALA LUMPUR: Scomi Group Bhd will face trading suspension next Monday if it is unable to submit the outstanding annual reports for the financial year ended June 30 to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd by Friday.

Bursa Securities said if the company fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within six months from the expiry of the relevant time frames, it faces delisting.

To recap, Scomi Group failed to issue its annual report that includes the annual audited financial statements together with the auditors’ and directors’ reports for FY20 for public release within the stipulated time frame, which is Oct 31.
