F&N maintains fizz with higher quarterly net profit


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, F&N said the group’s pre-tax profit grew 21% to RM108.3mil due to prudent cost controls on overheads and lower advertising and promotions spending, despite higher commodity cost.

PETALING JAYA: Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd’s (F&N) net profit for its fourth quarter ended Sept 30, rose 26% to RM85.99mil from RM68.03mil in the previous corresponding period, on the back of robust exports and stabilising domestic sales.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, F&N said the group’s pre-tax profit grew 21% to RM108.3mil due to prudent cost controls on overheads and lower advertising and promotions spending, despite higher commodity cost.
