TM to stay lean with RM500mil opex cut

PETALING JAYA: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) will continue with the five-year transformation programme it started in 2018, which includes cutting its operating expenses (opex) by RM500mil to RM600mil and “further rightsizing” within the group.

AmInvestment Research said TM’s management remains committed with its Performance Improvement Programme (PIP).
