KUALA LUMPUR: UOA Development Bhd’s newest property development in Bangsar South: The Goodwood Residence is now 35% sold and the developer is confident of achieving its sales target despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
“We see good demand for the area of Bangsar South. This is a leasehold development and we had recently renewed the lease until the year 2119, ” UOA Development’s senior manager for sales and marketing Frankie Choo (pic) told StarBiz.
The project is now 30% completed. It is situated on a 3.07-acre piece of land.
The soft preview was done in June 2019 with the official launch in June this year.
The project, which is a residential development, consists of 678 units which are expected to be completed in 2023.
“In terms of pricing, we are looking at RM720 per square foot (psf) onwards with sizes ranging from 947 square feet (sq ft) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms all the way up to 2,002 sq ft, ” Choo said.
He said each unit is partially furnished and will have a minimum of two carparks to a maximum of four carparks, based on the size of the unit.
“We also have two entrances into Goodwood Residence to ease the traffic congestion issues in Bangsar South.
“We took this into consideration.
“One is behind Nexus and the other is through Jalan Pantai Permai.
“Residents can use this road to access the New Pantai Expressway, ” Choo said.
He said that the development’s unique selling point is that it can be a multi-generational home as also seen from the facilities that it offers.
“Our facilities cater to three generations: golden-aged people, middle-aged adults and the kids as well.
“We have about more than 40 facilities that cater to these three generations of people, ” Choo said.
Units are also designed to have anti-slip tiling and flooring materials, while the corridors are wide enough to allow a wheelchair to move through easily, Choo said.
