KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Bina Puri, TGC Group, Top Glove, Kerjaya Prospek and Sunsuria to be among the stocks to watch on Thursday following their recent corporate announcements.
Bina Puri's joint venture secured a RM1.03bil railway contract in Thailand while TGC Group bagged a RM323mil construction project.
As for Top Glove, it plans to start paying dividend every quarter, Kerjaya Prospek is buying land in KL for RM10mil, Sunsuria plans to raise RM500mil of sukuk, and K-One will manufacture syringe safety needle caps.
Overnight, US markets rallied on hopes of fiscal stimulus and aid for airlines. European stocks ended lower as President Donald Trump had earlier halted stimulus discussions until after elections.
At Bursa on Wednesday, the FBM KLCI fell 19.91 points to 1,489.56.
"Following the positive performance in Wall Street, the FBM KLCI could climb with support at 1,475," it said.
