MSM CEO asked to cease office


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the board of MSM said it had undertaken due process to allow the group CEO Datuk Khairil Anuar Aziz to clarify on the irregularities pertaining to the adjustment to write-off inventories amounting to RM36.6mil in MSM Sugar Refinery (Johor) in the 2019 financial statements but the clarification provided was unacceptable.

PETALING JAYA: The board of MSM Malaysia Holdings Bhd has decided for the group CEO to cease office with effect from yesterday, after finding his clarification on the irregularities relating to inventories of MSM Sugar Refinery (Johor) Sdn Bhd to be unacceptable.
