KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX) has clinched a RM47.17 million contract for infrastructure development services related to the government's cloud computing initiative, MyGovCloud, at the Public Sector Data Centre (PDSA) in Putrajaya.

The company said its wholly-owned unit DneX Solutions Sdn Bhd, an information technology project management and consultancy firm, today accepted a letter of award dated Sept 15 from the government for the job.

The 37-month contract was for the period from Sept 22, 2020, to Oct 23, 2023, DNeX said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

"Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the consolidated earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the group throughout the contract period.

"The contract will not have effect on the issued and paid-up share capital, substantial shareholders’ shareholding and gearing of DNeX," it said.
